Course Overview:
Digital literacy and online safety are essential skills for the 21st century. They enable you to access, evaluate, create, and communicate information using digital technologies. They also help you protect yourself and others from online risks, such as cyberbullying, phishing, identity theft, and misinformation. This class teaches students the core principles of safety while playing online. In today’s digital world, kids need the right skills to prepare them from the negatives of the online world and be empowered with the right resources to report and get help. This engaging class prepares children for participation, socialization, searching and learning using digital technologies. Young learners need to be prepped with these skills to prepare them for future job opportunities. Students will be exposed to important foundation skills, interconnecting skills and transferable skills will be taught in a fun way.
