Course Overview:
JavaScript is a loosely-typed client side scripting language that executes in the user’s web browser. A web page without JavaScript is unimaginable today. There are many open source application development frameworks based on JavaScript. This class is a super-packed class that combines the teaching of Java from the basics up, Python Language as a programming interface with learning the use of Canva as a design platform for students. Students will develop several designs and create a variety of projects which will include posters and astonishing artworks.

- To learn why Java is useful for the design of desktop and web applications.
- To learn how to implement object-oriented designs with Java.
- To identify Java language components and how they work together in applications.
- To design and program stand-alone Java applications.
- To learn how to design a graphical user interface (GUI) with Java Swing.
- To understand how to use Java APIs for program development.
- To learn how to extend Java classes with inheritance and dynamic binding
- Master the fundamentals of writing Python scripts.
- Learn core Python scripting elements such as variables and flow control structures.
- Discover how to work with lists and sequence data.
- Write Python functions to facilitate code reuse.
- Understand and apply the various features of the Canva platform
- Class projects of different types to be concluded
